In the last few years, more people have made a good habit after the winter holidays to start a body detox period. It is absolutely normal and recommended that after a period of excess food you help your body eliminate accumulated toxins.
Periodically, the body needs a rest in order to re-yield and sustain us in the fight with daily stress, so it is very important that at the beginning of each year we free ourselves from the animal protein diet with a detox period.

According to nutritionists, detox plans are done with many fresh fruits and vegetables,but you have to give up alcohol and tobacco.
The secret of the detox diet lies in the foods you add. Thus, you need to eliminate fat, especially those of animal origin, and have three meals a day and two snacks. This body detox diet is beneficial not only for the silhouette but for the proper functioning of the internal organs, skin and to clean the blood of toxins.

Food recommended by nutritionists for cleaning the body are as follows:
1. Water is the main method for detoxifying the body. The consumption of 2 liters of daily water allows the elimination of toxins through the kidneys.
2. Yogurt is a precious source of calcium and contains lactobacilli that are established in the intestine and protects it from the action of dangerous microorganisms.
3. Extra virgin olive oil, reduces cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.
4. Tomatoes protect the blood vessels and the immune system, as they are very rich in vitamin C and contain lycopene, a substance with anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects.
5. Fibers are found in many fruits, vegetables, bread and whole pasta. The fibers help the body eliminate toxins, facilitate bowel function, and slow the absorption of fat and sugar in the body.
6. Vitamins, give brightness to skin, especially E, A and C vitamins. These are three powerful antioxidants that fight against free radicals.
Vitamin E protects tissues against aging and is found in red grapes and all unsaturated fats: olive oil, wheat germ oil, soy or sunflower.
Vitamin A helps smooth skin cells and wrinkles. In animal food, there is very little vitamin A, but it is in the form of beta-carotene in many vegetables: peppers, carrots, pumpkin, and vegetables with dark green leaves such as spinach. Daily requirement is 700 micrograms (3 peppers, one carrot, 120 g pumpkin).
Vitamin C favors the formation of collagen. It is found in dark green vegetables, peppers, tomatoes, kiwi, strawberries. The daily requirement is 60 mg (orange, 110 g strawberries, 2 tomatoes, half peppers).

7 days body detox plan:
In the morning on empty stomach squeeze half of lemon in a glass of water.
Mix a teaspoon of flaxseed with water and consume the mixture before breakfast.
A shake composed from rice milk with banana.
Like dietary supplements, you can take vitamin C.
Variants for snacks:
apple juice diluted with a little water.
soup celery and hummus
one tablespoon with nuts or walnuts.
steamed broccoli with sesame seeds and beets sprinkled with lemon juice. Boil some brown rice.
Variants for snacks:
Carrot with humus.
Vegetable salad: small chopped tomatoes, mixed with green parsley lemon juice,olive oil, nuts and salt. For desert you can have any fruit.
7 days rice - based detox diet
♦ 7 days rice-based detox diet:
The basis of this regime is very simple: you can eat the first 3-4 days of cooked rice with vegetables, most of which are onions, carrots, courgettes, dill and celery, or boiled rice mixed with bananas.
In the next three days, go to a regular menu that contains: vegetable soup, boiled rice with grilled vegetables (avoiding tomatoes, eggplants, mushrooms and peppers).
It is vital to consume all week 2 liters of water a day. Commercial juices, wine and coffee are forbidden.
3 days detox diet plan:
Breakfast: musli with fresh grapefruit juice or fresh fruit salad.
Lunch: raw lettuce with pumpkin seeds.
Dinner: rice with vegetables or celery salad with nutmeg.
Besides this detox period, is very important to do sports to speed up the metabolism and eliminate the toxins.
Go to the gym, even if you have already started your job. Two hours in the evening, two or three times a week is recommended, do cardio, pilates, aerobics, Kangoo Jumps because a detox program means, you have to combine everything, food and exercises. When your detox plan ended, you can return to the normal diet, where you can enter the meat and fresh fish.
